Marvin Azrak
Principal
Marvin founded Maguire Capital Group in 2013 as a middle-market, private equity firm focusing on real estate acquisitions in New York City. Since the inception of Maguire Capital Group, Marvin acquired, managed, and disposed over $350mm in New York City real estate. In 2017, Marvin founded Maguire Lending with a focus on purchasing opportunistic performing and non-performing loans. Since then, Marvin and Maguire Lending has successfully closed over on a wide array of performing, workout and default loans including loans in foreclosure and bankruptcy situations across multiple asset classes including residential, retail, industrial, hotel, and others. Through successful ownership and management of these real estate projects, Marvin has cultivated strong relationships throughout the industry among banks, brokers and investment partners.

Max Silverman
Director
Max is a Director at Maguire Capital and oversees all acquisitions and investment structuring. Since the firm’s inception, Max has been involved with every aspect of the firm’s growth and investments. Prior to joining Maguire, Max worked in the acquisitions and asset management team at a New York City based family office focusing on middle-market equity investment opportunities in multifamily, retail, and industrial assets. During this time, Max successfully acquired over 16 buildings while assisting in the asset management of a 40+ building portfolio. Prior to that, Max worked at Sage Hospitality in their Asset Management division helping oversee an extensive hotel portfolio spanning across the United States. Max graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration.

David Cohen
Since joining Maguire in 2021, David has worked on both the acquisitions team as well as the asset management team on Maguire’s active portfolio. David has overseen the onboarding, management, and exit processes for over $120mm of investments. David graduated cum laude from NYU Stern with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics.
